P&G Matching Gifts

If you work for P&G this is a way to double your donation. Please spread the word.

As many of you may know by now, my son, Logan, has a very rare, and to date incurable, kidney disease called ARPKD.  My sister (April Cielica) and I have found that the University of Alabama, Birmingham Medical Center has an NIH Sponsored Research Center of Excellence dedicated to finding a cure for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) in children.  We have personally met with the lead researcher, Dr. Bradley Yoder, and are very inspired by his research, and his plans for the coming years.

If you are inclined to give to this research, you can double your impact simply by using P&G’s matching gift process…P&G will match up to $5,000 per year!  AND, I will be able to report, directly from UAB, how much money comes from our generosity. If you are so inclined, you can let me know that you donated, and I’ll be sure to follow-up that the money goes directly to the research efforts into causes and cures for PKD for children like Logan.  I will also gladly include you in the research updates I will get once per quarter from his department.

I realize there are many great causes asking you for assistance at this time. Please know this option is available anytime throughout the year. If the current time doesn't make sense for you please consider putting a reminder in your calendar to consider it again in the future. My son and my family would greatly appreciate your contribution.

If you need ANY help with these instructions, please let me know!  Sincerely yours,
Ann Wiesman (annw331@gmail.com)
